Research Scientist, Discovery
About ImmunoScape
ImmunoScape is a pre-clinical biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of
next- generation TCR cell therapies in the field of oncology. The company’s proprietary Deep
Immunomics technology platform enables highly sensitive, large-scale mining and immune profiling of T
cells in cancer patient samples to identify novel, therapeutically relevant TCRs across multiple types of
solid tumors. ImmunoScape has multiple discovery programs ongoing and will be progressing towards
IND-enabling studies and entry into the clinic.
Key responsibilities – Research Scientist
ImmunoScape is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in immunology, T cell
functional assays, flow cytometry and cell biology to lead the evaluation, selection and characterization
of TCR-engineered T cells candidates. This position will be located in Singapore.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Discovery team in developing internal discovery assets, from early-stage discovery
efforts to selection of therapeutic candidates - Establish in vitro testing models to assess T cell anti-tumor activity using cell lines and primary
cells - Establish high-throughput in vitro testing models to determine the epitope of a TCR
- Plan, execute, and analyze experiments for the characterization of the safety and activity of TCR-
engineered T cells - Author technical documents and report summaries of key experimental data during internal
meetings and to management
Required qualifications and skills
- A doctoral degree in immunology, biology or related fields, with at least 3 years of lab
experience - In-depth experience with functional assessment of T cell activation, proliferation, cytotoxicity is
required - Experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry required
- Industry experience in cell therapy and/or immuno-oncology preferred
- Experience with molecular cloning, production and use of viral vectors is a plus
- Ideal candidates should have an extensive track record in designing, planning and delivering on
project milestones, also evidenced by a very good publication record - Excellent writing and communication skills, accurate data documentation and reporting skills are
required - We expect to recruit an excellent team player who is independent, flexible and self-driven
- Good interpersonal skills are required
